I've been working in the publishing industry for the past nine years. Here's a look at my professional resume.

Artsy Editorial — January 2020-Present

Editorial Director

Oversee content strategy, audience development, reader acquisition, and operations for Artsy’s Editorial Team. Direct manager for multiple writers and editors. Conceive of new editorial products, such as newsletters, tailored for loyal users and serve as the directly responsible individual through and after launch. Responsible for entire departmental budget including aligning goals and projections with Executive and Finance teams. Primary contact point with Product team in setting and delivering on product roadmap goals. Serve as primary editor on multiple pieces per month ranging from news stories to features to personal essays.

Artsy Editorial — July 2018-December 2019

Director of Editorial Operations & Growth

Oversee all audience development, growth, reader acquisition strategies, and editorial operations for editorial staff. Primary contact point with Product team in setting and delivering on product roadmap goals. Responsible for entire departmental budget including aligning goals and projections with Chief Revenue Officer. Collaborate with Marketing team for most efficient user acquisition spending. Primary contact point with Analytics team in setting framework and metrics for determining LTV of Editorial users. 

Artsy Editorial — April 2017-July 2018

Associate Director of Editorial Operations & Growth

Oversaw daily editorial operations for an online publishing staff. Collaborated with Head of Editorial and Executive Editor on team growth structure and high-level content strategy and programming. Set departmental budget including aligning goals and projections with Chief Revenue Officer. Oversaw all audience development, growth, and acquisition strategies and spending. 

Artsy Editorial — July 2015 - March 2017

Managing Editor

Managed daily operations for an online publishing staff of twelve during 400% increase in YOY traffic. Restructured team workflow to improve efficiency. Responsible for entire editorial budget including all invoicing systems. Responsible for long-term goal setting and editorial strategy. Worked closely with social media and email teams to improve content distribution and further drive traffic.

Kirkus Media — May 2012 - June 2015

Assistant Indie Editor

Copyedit and fact-check an average of 90 book reviews a week. Managed and trained interns in best fact checking practices. Responsible for keeping track of deadlines for approximately 300 book reviews per month. Contribute online and print features.

Architectural Digest — October 2010 - April 2012

Editorial Coordinator

Worked directly with Managing Editor to track stories from start to close and formulated shipping schedule with production. Acted as liaison between digital and editorial departments. Coordinated with advertising department to route and close all advertorial material in each issue. Created systems for managing and tracking manuscript and photography budgets.
